Early last months, the world’s biggest celebrities gathered at New York Metropolitan Museum of Art, sporting outlandish outfits and fantastical hair styles. Known by some as the Costume Institute Gala, but feverishly expected by most as the Met Gala, the annual fundraising event for the museum’s Costume Institute, has become the Super Bowl of fashion. Amber Heard showed a perfect combination of nonchalance and splendor at the Met Gala. In a thigh-high slit Ralph Lauren satin gown, the actress swept her golden locks over her shoulder, creating a look was the ultimate showstopper!

Ciara Met Gala

Fully embracing the Met Gala’s futuristic theme, singer and model Ciara went out on a limb and showed off a daring sci-fi look. Her coiled and twisted silver hair makeover was adorned with an assortment of pins, and a custom-made H&M gown made sure that her look turned heads.

Emma Stone Met Gala

Although Emma Stone went brunette several months ago, the Gala was the first public event where she debuted her new chestnut-hue. The actress wore a white Prada gown with and an intricately embellished corset that fittingly complemented her effortlessly side-swept shoulder-length ‘do.

Actress turned activist Emma Watson made a statement on the Met Gala red carpet: her black-and-white Calvin Klein gown was entirely made out of recycled plastic. Her unique pantsuit was only half the story: tucked behind her ears and gently curled back at the bottom, she looked drop-dead gorgeous with her impeccably sleek auburn bob.
