Bridal Week Recap: Anne Barge

After Fashion Month (aka all of September) the stylish crowd flocks back to New York City for Bridal Week. This is when all the designers debut their newest bridal and wedding couture for the next year. The week is filled with presentations, runway shows and press events. One stand out from Bridal Week 2017 was Anne Barge who is known for “combining timeless elegance with current trends for the discerning bride.” We’ve picked a few of our favorite looks from Anne Barge (hint: curls were key) so you can start pinning your 2017 wedding inspiration today!

First up on the Anne Barge runway were glamorous Hollywood curls. Perfectly coiffed ringlets fell at the models’ shoulders and glistened in the light with a slight sheen. Your grandmother and mother-in-law will definitely approve this classic look and you’ll look fabulously put together.

Next up on the runway were au natural curls. Models with naturally curly hair had their hair parted in a soft side part. Their hair was then adorned with ornate clips and barrettes to keep the parted side out of the face, showing off some beautiful earrings! This look is great for brides who want their organic self to shine through on their big day.

Hair was curled, side parted and then pulled back into a low bun. Ringlets were then pinned around the bun to reveal a heart-like arrangement of curls. This look is perfect for veils and embellishments as the secure bun provides a great base for combs and pinned accessories.
